What is a Telegram bot?

A bot is your business account on Telegram. You create it for free with Telegram's BotFather, then connect it to Sky Free.

Can I message people who have not talked to my bot?

No. Telegram only lets a bot message people who started a chat with it. People can block a bot at any time.

Does Telegram show delivered and read status?

No. Telegram does not provide delivery or read receipts for bots, so messages show as sent.

Can I use Telegram groups?

Yes. Add your bot to a group to welcome members and apply moderation rules. Your bot answers when it is mentioned, replied to or given a command, unless you choose otherwise.
